So what happens when a search algorithm gives you what you want without an opportunity to advertise, because advertising would (does) skew results? I answered this back in 2006. Disruption of the search market, just as severe as when search replaced yellow pages.

It’s another trillion dollar biz if he can bring about his vision as an everything app. I’ve done most of the work on an everything app so I’m aware of the potential. BUT only someone with Elon’s deep pockets, and Twitter’s network effect can bring it into being quickly.
