Now, you don’t know that part of my work is developing AI’s that can detect bias and deceit, which is an improvement on existing AI’s ability to detect decorum and general content. Or that my work began from developing AI for making legal arguments. But it’s ‘science’ for me. 😉

On facebook I could write 4K missives to answer a question in detail. And the FB thread system made a subsequent discussion easier than twitter. Hopefully twitter will add long form so we don’t have to ‘hack’ the app to have adult conversations of substance.

The problem for people in tech is the rapid market perishability of any skill, meaning that as we age and our learning curve increases, we are less able to rotate our skill base every three to four years. Craftsman’s bodies give out, and programmers’ brains give out, over time.
