OK. Please help me out then.
I’m a 64 year old retired foundr and CEO of multiple software companies in the 100M range. I did early work on AI in the 80s’ and wrote one of the first AI’s for applied law before 1990.
Today I work in decidability (truth) applied to behavior, economics and law. In particular, I specialized in human antisocial behavior, especially lying. Because there is little academic work on the subject it took a great deal of effort. And I learned more about human behavior from that study than all other disciplines combined.
And as someone of my generation, the term ‘sus’ or ‘suspect’ may not carry the meaning it does with the younger generations. So, what is odd (or “sus”) about the future I imagine … from within my domain of expertise?
Because if you spend your time trying to figure out how to reform the law to limit human antisocial behavior and the cumulative consequences, that’s not very different from how anything approaching artificial general intelligence must approach the problem.
