DEI VS THE TERNARY LOGIC OF MAN WOMAN AND CHILD

–“Canada is a lot bigger than Greenland, so do you think that they could just join America overnight? Wouldn’t it need a little bit more planning?”–
Not really – one year for constitutional revision in Canada’s federal to state constitution to preserve their (left wing) biases, health care and so on, and the revision of the US treaties and laws and procedures to accommodate the addition of yet another large state (NY, CA, FL, TX and then Canada.
It might not be clear to canadians that because of their population and territory they would have extraordinary influence on the federal government – more so than they have over the canadian government.
It might not be clear that some of us are more patriotic to our states than we are to the federal government. And that this would likely apply to canadians as well.
My suspicion is that canada’s integration would lead to imitation of canadian health care by other large states, with the preservation of medicare for all by the smaller states.
While we would prefer to bring in each province as a state, this would upset the balance of power in the senate precisely because Canada is so left wing (a mommy state – individual irresponsibility) and the USA is center right (a daddy state – individual responsibility).
The USA could accommodate this difficulty in the senate by re-apportioning the number of senators, but this would delay the transition as it’s a constitutional revision rather than ‘yet another state added’.
So, instead we would leave open the capacity of canadians to establish provinces as states once fully integrated such that existing canadians adapted to the burden of responsibility americans share for the global order and canadians don’t. This will take around a generation.
This is quite doable and is absolutely in the interest of canadians and americans.
Conversely, I’d rather we both unite and re-join england just so we could have the monarchy as a check and balance against our presidencies. π
Affections;

–Q: @curtdoolittle: “Did the perception of cuteness in humans evolve as an adaptive survival mechanism to increase offspring care and social bonding?”–
Emergence: Breast-feeding: Oxytocin: Protection of offspring: notenic extension of childhood in order to manifeste prefrontal agency: social bonding: cooperation, cooperation at scale.
“Cuteness” refers to a sensation in response to preservation of neotenic traits and the manifestation as agreeableness and charm instead of aggression. Domestication syndrome. π
So, yes. π

The (Stupid, Politically Correct) Reason that Psychologists no longer recognize Aspergers
(yet we aspies use it all the time).
Asperger’s syndrome was a distinct diagnosis which described a person of average or higher-than-average intelligence and age-appropriate language skills who also had social and communication challenges – such neurological compartmentalization and systematizing that empathizing and neurological integration was underdeveloped or stressed. Though most learn how to mask and ‘fit in’. (In my view, we aspies get along fine. And are far less burdened than neurotypicals other than in our interactions with neurotypicals. π Who are the source of anxiety. π )
So in my view, and the view of most of us – is that we have a superpower. Especially in the scientific and technological age.
So Why Conflate Aspergers with Autism?
“Hans Asperger, the man who claimed he discovered autism and who created the Asperger’s syndrome label, had his research funded by the Nazi regime and specifically protected autistic children he labelled as having Asperger’s and therefore being intelligent, while allowing other autistic children to perish under euthanasia.
This historical context is a big reason that the Asperger’s label is no longer in use by medical professionals and is no longer welcomed by the autistic community.”
In Other Words – Its nonsense, and the correct categorization of the cognitively masculine, systematizing end of the spectrum as Aspergers is to the benefit of those of us who are born with it, master it, and effectively weaponize it for our own betterment and that of mankind.
Because, do you have any idea what percentage of innovations in western civilization are from the minds of aspies? Most.
Recapture the term Aspergers as a superpower you’re proud of – despite the social costs it’s worth it. π
Hugs all,
CD

TRUMP’S IDEA IS WORTH CONSIDERING – HE’S USING AGITATION TO CAUSE YOU TO THINK. (AND ITS WORKING)
How is what Trump is proposing not in the interest of canadian people? In america states are independent entities, much more so than canada’s provinces. You can keep your favorite policies. You just will be much, much, much wealthier instead of increasingly poorer.
He might be ‘messing with’ your patriotism (texans and california are as state-patriotic as Canadians are, and the population sizes aren’t that different) in order to generate moral outrage enough to get you all to actually think about the possibilities. But at this rate canada is headed to UK economic territory as much much poorer than the USA.
Why? It is impossible to organize investment in canada on the scale necessary for y’all to compete with other than resources – and in doing so continue to fall into the resource-trap as you have been.
