Yana just emptied the ice bucket on Kirill. And he is soaked. And I think all semblance of maturity has been abandoned. Three or four women have now decided I am the next target….
Sigh. π

Yep. You gotta read, re-read, and think about some of the stuff I write. Sorry. I do too. π
Writing a proof, which is most of what I try to do, does not mean that I understand all the implications of what I write when I write it. I often go back and say “wow… I wrote that? Without the aid of hallucinogens?”
At the time I wrote it I was doing what you would think of as mathematics or engineering. I don’t always see the implications of it until I review it later.
The degree to which I discover things while attempting to construct proofs is not easy for others to see. But I tend to stumble upon insights I tend only to vaguely intuit, and only understand as I am writing the logical consequences.
This is what Mises meant but could not articulate. I wish I could talk to him for just an hour or two. Same with Hayek.

I have no problem defending or ruling other peoples. These are both moral and costly.
I have a problem with governing other people. And profiting from it.
Why?
Because defense and rule of law are universal truths. Governing: producing commons, are preferences and strategies.
I consider that none of even the most enlightened people’s business. And worse, beyond their capacity.

Liliya says she hopes her boys will come to a club some day and the girls will say OMG!
I say as a father of daughters that I think of them going to clubs with men like me and I think OMG!!!

Talking to V the other day about how much damage the IRS did to our lives.
I am not sure which was worse. The cancer or my own government.
That reason alone – knowing how much evil is done by those people, I have no compunction at all about killing every member of every family that works for any our of control bureaucracy free of juridical defence.
When you realise that they print vast sums of money, and that all their prosecution would not pay for a few days if the Iraq war you begin to see the evil that these people do.
I want every one of them dead.

Conceptual and linguistic difference. If asked correctly the answers would match westerners.

Response to Adam Ozimek. Forbes.
Adam.
Hard not seeing this statement as An instance if postmodern critique : a straw vehicle to criticise what appears to be a transitional revolutionary the consequence of which might demonstrate further diminution of public intellectuals. Which is the central value trump provides to the populace.
My read is quite different: that just as pseudoscience is being incrementally pressed from the academy by Internet access and contemporary research; just as media manipulation of the body politic is being deprecated; the public intellectual is deprecated. And the alliance between media, intellectual, academy and state is coming undone.
Trump is not going to be unique. He is teaching the next generation of politicians how to conduct political debate in the new century.
Welcome to the revolution. π
