DEAR JUSTICES. A TRUTH. A WARNING. A PROMISE.

***Our American Judges have been turned into Nazi Officers with ‘its the law’ a hollow substitute for ‘I was following orders’.***

***There is only one law: productive, fully informed, warrantied, voluntary exchange, free of imposition of costs by externality, on that another has obtained by either homesteading of opportunity, or exchange by the same productive, fully informed, warrantied, voluntary exchange free of the same externality.***

Everything else is literally an order.

If you follow immoral orders you have no escape from justice.

Either you adjudicate natural law, or you issue commands.

If you issue commands then you are responsible for your actions.

So we pray you take heed how you command our people.

We are coming with rifle and guillotine, not pitchfork and noose.

And we shall hold you accountable for your commands.

I swear upon all my gods, the judiciary will preserve the rule of law or be put to death and replaced by those who shall.

    Natural Law is sacred.

“QUESTION:” CURT: DO YOU HAVE A SIMPLE VERSION OF THIS TALK?”

Sure. Or, I’ll try hard. 😉

    1) The “NAP” that only limits physical aggression leaves open “trickery and deceit’ as well as ‘free riding parasitism’ and ‘conspiracy’. And by leaving open these forms of aggression, the NAP cannot produce property rights, an anarchic polity, or a condition of liberty.

    2) It is irrational for other than career criminals to prefer membership in a polity with the high transaction costs and high opportunity costs, and high risk due to trickery and conspiracy over one in which trickery, deceit, and conspiracy are permitted. And this is why no such economic polity exists.

    3) But a definition of aggression that includes physical, trickery and deceit, free riding parasitism, and conspiracy can produce property rights, an anarchic polity, and a condition of liberty. Because it is rational to prefer an anarchic polity free of these forms of parasitism over one that has much higher costs.

    4) So Rothbardian Non Aggression against ‘physical property’ can’t create a condition of liberty, while classical liberal Non Aggression against ‘demonstrated property’ can create a condition of liberty.

    5) What is demonstrated property? Anything you have homesteaded or obtained through productive, fully informed, voluntary exchange, and without imposing costs upon the demonstrated property of others.

    6) What do people demonstrate as their property? Life, Kin, Mate, Friends, Allies, physical property, territory, built capital, norms, and institutions.

    7) What Exceptions are there? Communities produce opportunities by virtue of population density and cooperation in a division of labor while using property rights, and expect members to homestead those opportunities. We call this process of homesteading opportunities ‘competition’. This creating of common opportunities and homesteading them is what produces the virtuous cycle that makes cities (markets) so productive.

    8) So how do we create liberty? We create liberty by reciprocal insurance of one another’s demonstrated property from transgression by others, thereby creating the first commons: property rights, or what we loosely call ‘cooperation’.

    9) This argument kills the idea of individualism per se and instead states that all rights are possessed by individuals but rights can only be created by an organized polity willing to construct them by reciprocal insurance of one another’s demonstrated property from the imposition of costs.

The rest of the talk is largely a criticism of why the NAP failed, and why Rothbard came up with it for cultural reasons. And how the reason he didn’t complete the NAP or write it operationally was to circumvent the logical conclusion that with greater articulation his attempt to avoid payment for the commons would have been exposed.

I love kids in this part of the world. They aren’t attention starved. They don’t have this urgent almost panicked need for mommy and daddy to provide boundaries and information. Not as good as Austria (my favorite). But still wonderful.

    LONG AMERICAN WORK HOURS? WHY?

Lack of hierarchy. Extreme information gathering. Unnecessary Negotiating.

Would we change less sovereignty and more hierarchy for more time?

    I kind of doubt it.

(I’m tying this behavior to loneliness. work socialization is a vent.)

Conversely, europeans who are far more provincial than we are (really) for all their criticism of our rural culture, would not. Because they don’t need socialization as much as we do.

HELP? RESEARCH QUESTION: IS THERE A CONNECTION BETWEEN VERBAL INTELLIGENCE AND WORK CAPACITY?

I don’t know. I would say no. Is there a connection between general intelligence and work capacity? I would also say no. I would say that that work capacity limited by impulsivity and mastery of the work so that one experiences relative successes at limited cost. I cannot do anything that requires I switch frequent context for long. I cannot do anything terribly boring for long. I can however work on my favorite subjects pretty much until I drop dead from exhaustion. But my observation of people in the workplace in both white, blue collar, and labor occupations is that if people can obtain a state of mental relaxation while doing their work, they can do it forever regardless of their intelligence. Quieting the mind is extremely important. (hence my interst in stoicism and its variants), and perhaps just as importantly, ensuring we are not lonely. Which is I think the great sense of anxiety that permeates american life.

    Thanks.

    TEN RANDOM ISSUES WITH MULTICULTURALISM

(I posted this as a comment on ex-army)

    1) it provides cheap unearned status signals for a lot of people who would otherwise be daily confronted by their low status. (disinformation but I suppose ok)

    2) It provides the female reproductive strategy with intuitionistic allies against alphas. (women may like it because it increases the herd but it’s a bad thing)

    3) It provides numbers to the peasants who would steal and the priests (state) that encourages them. (very bad under democracy)

    4) It drives up housing prices and demand for credit and consumption (this is the only material benefit) that would otherwise not exist. (economists think its good, taxmen think its good, otherwise it’s disastrously inflationary and distorts out entire information system)

    5) It misdirects effort and capital into consumption rather than to increases in productivity (which in the long term is a bad thing)

    6) It consumes accumulated normative capital. (very bad)

    7) If from the lower classes it decreases genetic (human) capital, and in some cases (France) reverses the all benefits of teaching science and literacy.

    8) It creates competition for privilege in government. (very bad)

    9) it increase conflict and therefore demand for government. (very bad)

    10) A lot of people like being directed by government and having someone else to do the policing, rather than doing it themselves. (to each his own but not at others cost)

I could continue this list, easily to 100 items. But you get the point.

We spent thousands of years culling our herd through various means of genetic pacification And in order to pay people to retire early and support single mothers we have burned millennia of eugenic investment that made our high trust civilization possible.
