    FEMALE FRIENDS?
I know that your post is directed at women. And I know you’re going to push back and say that ‘you’re not, we’re not, anywhere near the normal distribution’ but you know, I have always valued my female friends, especially if we are incompatible other than as friends.

I’ve valued my female friends, though (a) yes they often think you’re interested. I”m not I just value women’s opinion and insights because I’m on the opposite end fo the perceptual spectrum. (b) yes they often are interested in you (not a problem for me, I’m totally oblivious. lol)

I think you use female friends honestly like women use male friends honestly: “Hey, can you help me understand this?” Or “Hey, can you give me a (man/woman)’s opinion here?

It really helps if you’re both very attached and preferably married. It also helps if you’re in groups, whether couples or not.

So I suppose this is a difference between cooperative friends, supportive friends, and intimate friends. And you want to limit the support requested and avoid the intimacy at all costs. 😉

I really value female friends. 😉

Hoping you’ll educate me here in case I’m sufficiently on the spectrum to be stupid about these things. 😉

    (English Language Humor)

Proper folk pronounce Aunt as “AWE-nt”, and the little folk say “Ant”.
Proper folk pronounce Route as “Root” and the little people say “Rahwt”
Proper folks and little folk both pronounce “Router” – as in network router – as “rahwter”.

    Sigh. 😉

This is correct. The majority of the work was already done and. Hilbert would have produced a more western material solution if einstein hadn’t beaten him to it. However einstein’s use of the frame was in fact an innovation and we must give him credit for that insight, even if…

I would agree that the people on the fringes are more likely to identify questionable government and private sector activity, but it comes with the equal likelihood of exaggeration and fictionalization of conspiracy theories.

In ukraine, belarus, russia, the soviet era and post-soviet era corruption systems are essentially how people are paid to tow the line – becasue everyone can be bought, because almost everyone is qualitatively poor by western standards.
I mean at $80 to $200 bucks a month for people on the margin, and an average salary in total of $500 in post soviet economies, even with their ultra low cost of labor, food, and energy (and less so housing), it’s just almost impossible for everyone not to circumvent limited salaries if they are in any position to do so.
Our american government is far more corrupt, it’s just indirect corruption by abuse of systematic opportunities rather than direct cash payments for performance.
Franky having lived in those countries I”m not sure it’s not better to pay a copy $20 for a ticket rather than many hundreds to in the west.

  • SEYMOUR HERSH’S REPUTATION FOR CLICKBAIT AND MEDIABAIT WITH CONSPIRACY THEORIES:

SEYMOUR HERSH’S REPUTATION FOR CLICKBAIT AND MEDIABAIT WITH CONSPIRACY THEORIES: SPECULATION NOT REPORTING
Seymour Hersh’s investigative methods and reporting style have drawn significant skepticism and criticism for several specific reasons:

Anonymous Sources: Hersh’s dependence on anonymous sources complicates the verification process, casting doubt on the reliability of his reporting. This reliance often puts the burden of trust entirely on his personal credibility rather than transparent evidence.

Controversial Claims: He frequently presents claims that challenge official narratives, such as his account of the Osama bin Laden raid. These claims, often unsupported by publicly verifiable evidence, position his reports closer to speculation, impacting his reputation for factual accuracy.

Institutional Backlash: Hersh’s focus on sensitive national security topics brings him into frequent conflict with U.S. government and military institutions. This has not only polarized opinion about his work but has also led to public disputes that question his interpretations and findings.

Criticism from Peers: Within the journalism community, Hersh faces criticism for practices that some argue breach journalistic ethics—specifically his speculative approach and opaque sourcing. This criticism undermines his standing among contemporaries who advocate for more rigorous standards.

Outdated Methods: The shift in journalism towards more accountability and transparency in sourcing and reporting contrasts sharply with Hersh’s traditional, less transparent methods. This discrepancy has made his work seem out of step with current journalistic standards, further inviting critique.

These factors collectively explain why Seymour Hersh’s work, despite its impact, invites skepticism and critique, affecting his credibility and the acceptance of his findings in the broader discourse on investigative journalism.

In other worse Hersh produces nonsense clickbait. 😉

  • PSEUDOSCIENCES Technically speaking the reason I started working on epistemology

    PSEUDOSCIENCES
Technically speaking the reason I started working on epistemology, beginning with the sciences, was due to exasperation with nonsense on media:
Physics: As absurd as it sounds, physics went sideways with Cantor, Einstein, Bohr’s re-platonizing of mathematics in physics, the ‘mathiness’ and the Particles in Everything, and string theory nonsense that resulted in the failure of physics over the past seventy years or more.
Diet: Other than eating paleo, drinking a lot of water, and exercise, even if just walking daily, and a bit less frequently lifting weights, and optimally playing team sports even less frequently, almost all dietary claims have been false.
Psychology: Other than behavioral economics, a minority of the work on personality traits and intelligence, and neuroscience, most of it’s been false and quite a bit’s been harmful.
Sociology: Other than behavioral, micro, and social economics, most has been false and quite a bit’s been harmful.
Political Science: Other than political economy, and contemporary natural law, almost all of it’s been false, and almost all of it’s been harmful.
Economics: Other than the descriptive economics that I’ve already mentioned, almost all of it has been harmful and baited populations into hazard resulting in the empowerment of and rent seeking by the financial and political sectors of the economy.
Group Differences: was suppressed so the pseudoscience that evolved were the inversion – the claim that there were none or that they could be ameliorated without extensive eugenics – and this happens to be the worst pseudoscience of all.

Other than diet, every one of those pseudosciences has it’s origins in the jewish to marxist sequence of revolts against european systematic materialism and it’s replacement with pictoral, and emotional, verbalisms.

    Cheers
