(Though you clearly don’t know to whom you speak. 😉 ) Why did the USA (and the UK) build those different systems, and what was the result of doing so, and why didn’t we end them and integrate Russia into NATO when the soviet union fell? Why did we grant china trade privileges despite her failing to complete her reforms sticking us in our current position? What was the UK then the USA’s strategic goals after the world wars ended the age of empires and all but mandated the age of nation states?
