I assume the audience, any audience that would comprehend even the most basic things I say, would recognize assertions for what they are. The fact that you attribute emotional or egoistic properties to simple analytic statements of obvious incentives has everything to do with you and nothing to do with me. But then I respect that you are a human being and that we all tend to fall into the normalcy bias of assuming others think and feel as we do, and as such, we project ourselves upon others.
