McGilchrist has created a fictionalism (pseudoscience) to justify his christian fundamentalism.
Instead, the origin of the two hemispheres is predator (left) prey (right) which should be obvious with less than ten seconds of thought.
Nature cannot conceive, it can only solve incremental problems, and with bilateralism’s advantage in motion came the problem of synchronizing bilateralism, and solution to the bilateral brain produced the potential and demand for hemispheric dominance (priority) and as a consequence specialization. This resulted in the origin of all human differences sex, with the female (integrated and prey) bias, and the masculine (compartmentalized and predator) bias.
You are welcome as is anyone else to watch my videos on the foundations on our YT channel to understand these matters.
You are a good person, with moral ambitions, and you’re intellectually honest, so It’s worth my time to at least respond to you, but you should also try to recall that I’m probably one of only a handful of people on earth who understand these things at all levels of precision, and perhaps consider that just because I am kind in devoting my time to the public it does not mean it’s to be taken lightly. (Well, except when we’re all trash talking some nonsense or other as a break from the tedium and frustration of other bits of life. 😉 )
