This is empirically false. Instead, it appears that only 20% of the population can tolerate supernatural religion. For the rest, supernatural religion is incompatible with reality. We are seeing this across the west, and we are seeing it emerge in muslim countries with the best examples being Iran, Iraq, and especially albania. Where it is preserved it’s because the political boundaries that combine ethnicities are prohibiting the production of nation states. It’s similar to the cultural warfare in the USA, as religion declines down to it’s predicted 20% (or lower).
