The reason prior thinkers were wrong is they failed to address the problem of scale – you can’t have the prosperity of scale using village perception you need instruments and measures to expand your perception. If I were to tell you the problem is income statement vs balance sheet measurement in government and the failure to suppress innovations in fraud especially by indirect means. And worse the education monopoly and its fear of teaching economics given parent and student reactions to the self awareness achieved by it, forced the population into ignorance and emotional and cognitive confusion and disillusion.
