So you mean, that human beings, who must act in great numbers by negotiating between many coincidences of ideas, wants, needs, and fears produced an outcome YOU believe was inevitable but that they did not, and that some better arrangement was possible that did not create MORE risk of first and secondary effects – especially given what they had just learned about the nature of man and the consequences of total war by industrialized civilizations?

Kind of arrogant, naive, and presumptuous of you to think so, and I suspect you simply can’t imagine how many people were involved with how many incentives and obligations to others especially given what horrors they had experienced, and the just fears that the communists or or the nazis (or muslims) would return again and disrupt ‘the balance of powers’ that preserved european ability to develop trade and prosper?

People have power because others give it to them. The fact that any group of people seeks a peaceful settlement and intergroup cooperation for mutual benefit is rather odd and innovative in history.

What see is a miracle of human development. And you’re complaining that that miracle wasn’t enough of one. When it only wasn’t because the same morality that caused them to pursuit, allowed the evil of the jews and their seditions and use of finance, parasitism, and rent seeking, to take root once again, instead of recognizing the t they were and always will be the enemy just as islam is ht enemy of civilization.
