Do you have any words like this?
I know full well that the first syllable of Trespass is spelled with a single ‘s’. But I frequently type it with two. Why? Because my subconscious says ‘its better that way’.
I know full well the difference between its and it’s. But my subconscious has a crush on the apostrophe for some reason, and never misses and opportunity to insert one. (Some sexual reference there I’m sure.)
Same goes for dropping letters and words. For some reason, I just seem to ‘skip’ letters and words and I don’t see that I’ve skipped them.
Is there a way I can have a conversation with my subconscious and explain that this is a bit of a pain in the backside given that while I can correct articles it seems, for a long time, I can only correct posts for an hour, and I can’t correct replies at all.
