Um. Thats what standard of living means: consumption in relation to work hours. Stop third world rates of reproduction and then the world can have consumption.

@curtdoolittle America isn’t over populated, yet it uses the most resources and produces the most pollution per capita. Other countries are paying the price, so – unless you actually want others to suffer as a result of your profligate consumption, your argument doesn’t stack up.
