Original regional religion of the french region was a virgin cult – evidenced by the language. Too much latin effeminate signaling. Agrarian wealth and too much status signaling. Too much influence of the catholic church. Failure to produce a middle class capable of constraining the nobility and aristocracy, the most backward government in Europe. Political and social feminine displays of irresponsibility and hyperconsumption as virtue signals. The odd and contrived ‘effeminiate’ twist of the french language to the ‘lispy’ posturing effeminacy in the court. The court as a vehicle for feminine gossip, undermining, sedition, and treason. Effectively they generated an environment where they favored female virtue signaling and means of warfare between elites that was then copied by those ascendent into a norm.
