Here is the difference and it’s profound and if you can internalize it, you’ll be affected by it:

1 – Logic is falsificationary(darwinian) not justificationary falsehood is more knowable than potential truth. Statements survive or not.
2 – Science is falsificationary (darwinian) not justificationary. Ideas survive or not, they are not justified or not.
3 – Politics and Law likewise is only not imaginary when we work to eliminate bads not when we work to produce goods, and particularly not when we work to produce goods that incentivize bads. Where all bads are evasions of responsibility for mind, self, private and common.
IN OTHER WORDS
Successful political action almost always consists of increasing suppression of irresponsibility for mind, self, private and common, by indirect means using incentives, or by removing ignorance that will assist in following those incentives, because always and everywhere people act with their pocketbooks not their ideals. So politics is rather close to engineering resistance to stresses and laws of nature, more so than providing an alternative to laws of nature.
