My recommendation for the past decade has been to shift people from the production of consumables into the production of commons (capitalization). The consequences for reversal of alienation and restoration of meaning and the restoration of european civ into a ‘vast open air museum’ as are so profound that it is difficult for the those in the contemporary experience to imagine. I can’t think of another problem of modernity that wouldn’t be solved by it.
