I don’t ‘believe’ in much, though I have ‘confidence’ in the natural laws of the universe, including the natural law of cooperation and it’s impact on the natural laws of evolution, and as such I am fairly confident that I can judge the true and false, good and bad, moral and immoral independent of subjective variation in opinion on such things. This provides a mindfulness – a peace of mind – that is unavailable to the majority, and a means of successful navigation of life with the minimum degree of frustration and failure.
