Yes, but causally, it’s just male vs female bias. If you follow my work you’ll need only understand a few points: Only three means of coercion are possible:
1. Feminine seduction (middle east, priesthood, submission)
2. Established male force (China, the State, submission),
3. And ascendent male cooperation (europeans, contract, non-submission).
Rate of development (evolution) depends on which of those institutions is ‘first’ in the evolution of each civilization.
