There was no iq deficit in nordic populations. Just the opposite. The only change we know of in nordic populations from antiquity is increase in neoteny because women had a more masculine face and it’s been gradually europeanizing over time to a more feminine (gracile) face.

The way we judge the intelligence of a population is through their arts and crafts. In the case of the nordic shipwork and their arts, esp the anglo saxons for that matter, compared to say, the Scythians who paid the greeks to do their arts for them. Compared to the non-representationals. Compared to the primitivists. Hard to judge egypt for example because of the distribution of work.
