We must forgive the average people for their resorting to false perception of equality, of equality of values, the false promises of democdracy, and thus relying on moral habit and intuition. They do the best they can with the worthless education we have allowed them to be victimized by. So yes, there are two sad truths: that the most willing to use violence determine the terms of peace, and that our people are sufficiently ignorant (by design) that they cannot see that obvious fact.
