So true. IV and Fragile were may favorite records for years.
Then we had the hair bands, then punk, then indies, then grunge, then post grunge, and now I dunno what’s going on but with rare exceptions it’s trash. Zeppellin, Yes/Rush, Floyd, (too many indies to list), Nirvana(et al)/Tool-Perfect Circle. I don’t trash on Nickleback either. They have a formula and it’s consistent and it’s hard to argue with.
I hated the 60s and early 70s, but late 70’s (star wars) through 90s (the matrix) is probably about as good as it gets all around. 😉
We’re in worse shape than the 60s. that was a class, sex, race issue. Today it’s a civilizational survival issue.
