Not sure I’d make that argument.
I think (I am certain) that christianity sits on top of aristocratic civilization. And that we give christianity credit for what was in the west for 5000 years. Nearly everyone does that. And it’s simply evidently false given just the example you gave. And that’s before we take account for trying to export our culture or religions to others.
The religion does it’s lower-class part. But that’s all.
And the problem is human population demographics vary. So between demographics and lacking european foundations, if you add christianity you will certainly do better than any other religion or pseudoscience. BUt it isn’t enough to replicate western civ.
