Sorry, I should possibly have deleted my comment after the author of the OP (who I respect) corrected me by answering my doubts.

And please accept my apologies, because I spend far too much of time time criticizing junk science, and the malincentives of university and private sector research in the disciplines suffering from the reproduction crisis and the lingering effects of the postwar counter-revolution against the Darwinian revolution, meritocracy and rule of law.

We all make mistakes. I don’t make that many. But I’m thankful when I”m corrected, so that I don’t repeat them.
