If you play different parties, it forces you to think in civilizational differences, and to optimize for those differences.
A common observation of humans is justification seeking. In females it’s more empathic and social. But in males it’s more systemic, which is much harder. Sou males tend to over Inver in systematizing whatever tiny little knowledge tree branch that justifies their status seeking rather than developing a broad range of systems, and using that breadth and depth as a contex independent tool for status seeking. Competing interests under different constraints overcomes that natural tendency. So this is why, despite history especially comparative history, being the most cheaply accessible specialization and the one to convey the broadest general utility, it takes a lot of reading and a lot f time, and a good memory, rather than a lot of say, calculating or drawing etc.
