Attention-seeking AI pundit drama-queens are irritating. Yes, jobs will be affected. Yes the military will use it. Yes it will be another industrial revolution. Yes it will be disruptive. Yes it will be largely far better than before. Partly because (and this is what I work on) how hard it will be for politicians to lie to you if you have a powerful AI at your disposal.
