I might be annolying here but one of the lessons of the logics is that all narratives follow an algorithm that is programmable, and that what we are largely seeing in literature is reframing previously stated narratives from present context. And there are only a handful of narratives, because there are only a handful of plot possibilities, archetypes, and experiences, and as such all literature is formulaic. With the difference being the. sophistication of references, the number of characters, their various arcs, and the number of plots. So just as GOT revolutionized the novel and TV as a consequence, and just as painting ‘ran it’s course’ it certainly appears that literature and movies and serials have run their course, and without innovation they are stuck. All improvements in arts are due to technical improvetns that increase those variables I mentioned above.
