BTW: My mother’s maternal side is Sirois, Du Plessis etc. from the St Lawrence River Valley. And my grandfather’s side Theriault, was forced from Newfoundland by the english into maine. 😉 My father’s side, De Dolietta, is from Avranches, but of course, part of the norman conquest.

So it’s sort of a family tradition for my upper class english to trash the french and agrarian class french to trash the english and back and forth. 😉
