Yes, though those aren’t the american values.
We practice truth before face regardless of cost, and open debate, doing our laundry in public and the result is the ability to live under rule of law (not man) and participatory government (democracy), in a high trust society (unlike the Chinese), where we have the ability for self determination not determination ofourlives by others (unlike the Chinese). The difference is obvious in observing Chinese irresponsibility for the commons – including watching the government abuse people, and even ignoring children run over in the street.
