Interdependence.
1) Beyond tribalism, micro-races created by the caste system.
2) Limited mobility because of the caste system.
3) Traditions take a very long time to change without economic change (development)
4) State economy and economic development
5) Formal Institutions, esp govt and marriage and divorce laws.

Essentially people are extremely dependent upon the family for all forms of insurance, that more developed civilizations and states have obtained from education market, rule of law, and government.

So when we state the relationship between IQ and divorce rate we must offset that by the stage of economic prorductivity, resulting economic mobility, resulting economic freedom of the individual, resulting in the freedom of women, offset by the government’s ‘punishment’ for interference in marriage, and incentivizing divorce.

The west has removed punishmetns for interference in marriage, and produced incentives for women to divorce men and obtain men’s productivity without caring for them – and worse, creating two poorer households than one consolidated household.

IMO I don’t expect the rest of the world to make the same mistakes with marriage. Look what it has done to developed countries: it’s suicide by democide.

Cheers
