PROFESSOR BRIAN COX’S CHARM
I’m a bit jealous of @ProfBrianCox’s “Resting Cheery Face” (RCF). I mean, we make fun of actresses with “Restin B— Face” (RBF). But somehow it’s more common than RCF. In fact, RCF is a bit disturbing – like we’re not in on the joke. 😉 But Brian always looks like he’s ready and willing to serve a bit of insight or wisdom. And his graceful manners – especially when avoiding any semblance of insult criticism or controversy – is something those who seek attention by less admirable means could learn from.

As someone who devotes an inordinate amount of time criticizing intellectuals who overreach into innumeracy, pseudoscience, philosophy, and theology, Brian just doesn’t do it. Instead he tries to comfort the audience about the uncertainties of the universe rather than engage in those pretenses.
