1) france is and always will be as great an enemy of europe as russia has been, and for the same reasons: a false and unearned sense of superiority.
2) france has maintained colonies and relative autarky in an attempt to slowly conquer europe with political manipulation just as Russia has maintained empire and has sought relative autarky in an attempt to quickly conquer europe opportunistically with force.
3) The only solution is the unification of germanic and eastern europe (which is what france and russia feared), producing the latin, continental, and russian spheres, in a balance of power.
4) Each country is best producing it’s own military (as we have through history and the british mastered with the Regimental system) but adhereing to certain standards, which nato has been successful at establishing. Right now The ukrainians and the Finns have the best militaries in europe. France second. England, germany, and the rest of europe can barely mount an effective military operation at anything other than symbolic scale.
4) Yes the optimum solution remains to use NATO, and the decline of american dominance of NATO, replace with the emphasis on the contental (german-slavic) centrality of NATO until France and Russia are no longer threats to the continental center. This is in progress as we speak with poland the dominant driver, and the intermarium that will include poland and ukraine achieving it’s useful purpose over time. (as predicted prewar).
5) Within a generation or so it will be possible to integrate Russia – and necessary for Russia – assuming this conflict ends with a russian ‘change of mind’. The young will drive the change especially if we restore internet service and produce russian language news and analysis.
6) At the same time the woke disaster (and libralism) are destroying the western civilization and our offer to other countries. So the internal war is destroying woke, liberalism, feminism, and tolerance for sedition against the natural law the europeans dont even grasp that is their foundation.
