That’s throwing your hands up.
We are about to go through a profound crisis that has been accumulating iteratively for generations, where mutliple cycles are intersecting together. We are a very adaptive country in a reasonably adaptive civilization so we may weather it as we have each prior. But, if there is a chance for improvements on the scale of the roman reforms we can dramatically affect policy and drag education and economy out of it’s industrial age origins and into contemporary modernity.
