(I can’t follow your reasoning here. All I can grasp is your defense of Christian morals. Which is odd because Christian morality does solve the hard problem of cooperation at scale, preparing civilizations for high trust trade and majority middle class. But that’s *unnatural* to man, and high trust is a uniquely western trait. And it predates Christianity. Christianity just provided a means for women, slaves, and the underclasses to adopt aristocratic martial high trust despite being powerless, by demonstrating virtue by doing no wrong. Rather than by martial political intellectual, and economic achievement.)
