You aren’t saying he’s right. You’re agreeing with him. Your agreement is irrelevant. For your argument to survive, you would have to rely on Occultism (theology, religion), or Supernaturalism (idealism, platonism) that you cannot testify to. Whereas relying on the science (operationalism, testifiability), we can testify to. And there is nothing remaining in what was previously theology or philosophy that isn’t scientifically explainable.
