WESTERN “IMPERSONAL” VS EASTERN PERSONAL
(unpredictable consequences)
Interesting statistic: the female murder rate in what we would consider otherwise equal or superior societies. This is one of those consequences of western organization as a vast militia, and east Asian organization of a vast family. It leads to impersonalization and face before truth, vs personalization and truth before face. It changes what we ‘fight’ over. Western commons matters, and eastern family matters.

(I find this subject fascinating.)
