Yes, you would have been a nazi too. Yes, it was German national and Cultural Collctivism vs Jewish universal and Economic collectivism and both were anti-(anglo)-individualism. Naziism isn’t a marxist version of Socialism, or Rousseauian, but “better socialists than the other socialists”. More like the sectarian debate over who the real Christians are.

And all factions felt this collectivism must be achieved through power. So the Nazis were Left Wing, not Right Wing. And Italians and Germans and french and such. all wanted their identities – to PRESERVE their CULTURE before the economy, rather than the communists who sought to DESTROY all CULTURES by putting economics first.

So under the National Socialists, rather than workers of the world doing the same, each nation would serve the interests of their people differently.

IMO the optimum – the best of the classical liberals, french socialists, and German-Italian national socialists – can be achieved through our constitutions and rule of law, but clarifying the law, and the constitution, so that cultures are preserved, economies are productive, without the authoritarianism – but instead by prohibiting cultural warfare against institutions, and prohibiting authoritarianism to bring it about.
