We usually start w/ the Italian Gramsci then the Frankfurt school, its migration to america, and march thru the institutions. I wasn’t aware Brazilian Paulo Friere was so influential until Lindsay popularized it. It’s well known in economic theory that by the 50’s marxism failed.
