Well, sort of. Formal Legal Marriage is a result of the scarcity of that category we call property, which in turn is the source of wealth and prosperity. Marriage evolved under agrarianism, b/c of the need for sexual division of labor. Those conditions don’t exist. Nor ‘morals’.
