Smart. Yes. Males are much more widely distributed than females (Y chromosome origin of most evolutionary variation). This means 20% desirable males, majority ‘settleable’, and at LEAST 20%-30% undesirable. So we should expect male defection “downbreeding”, exiting gene pool.
