Most people have seen and Wargames (’83), but fewer people have seen Collosus the Forbin Project (’66 book,’73 movie), where the idea came from. (find it on Vimeo). The movie was shelved for two years before release. (It affected me as a youth) And of course 2001’s HAL in ’68.
