NYC is soon-to-be the equivalent of Detroit, b/c it survives on rent-seeking b/c DC uses it to distribute liquidity via interest (possible b/c of demand for the dollar as reserve currency) instead of direct-to-citizen generating immediate demand.
They don’t see oncomming train.
