I agree with all three of those risks. I’m not sure I agree that they are deterministic. I took your book as a warning against folly like the warnings against population, nuclear power, bio warfare, AI – not a claim of deterministic necessity. So maybe I misunderstood.

@JFGariepy ( Catching up ) So you are not objecting to the possibility or risk of the changes but the behavioral or institutional consequences of abandoning sortition and selection? Or the convergence of a uniformity that would insert fragility? Or RP theory of creating our replacement?
