2) So it appears we trade smaller brains with longer connections, and more iterations (recursions), producing agency (suppression of impulse, time for consideration), and use language for massively parallel computation for individual intelligence. This will end in a great filter.

1) Yes bigger brains are smarter brains, and our brains have lost the volume of a tennis ball since the invention of agrarianism. Domesticated animal brains shrink, develop flatter faces, multi-coloring (like europeans) and lower aggression (like europeans).
