His mistake is that he’s an unapologetic a—-hole, on mission to restore the economy, and global order, when the country temporarily needed a priest, and he was afraid (justly) that they would overstate the problem (they did), cause panic, take down the recovery (they did).

@JayMan471 Everyone claimed the administration was responsible but there were no plans at all because other than military scale mobilization for isolation and tracking, nothing was possible. The civil service has been demilitarized, does not conduct war games, no supplies, and incompetent.
