I bet I wouldn’t disagree with you on much policy. But I think you’re making a common error of thinking the literati (what’s written, gossip, ideas) has much to do with what those with judicial, political, military, and economic power do. They use the literati. That’s all.

@Lord_Keynes2 Conservatives don’t want open borders, the democrats (left) do. The conservatives BOUGHT OFF the financial and business sector to defeat the left’s use of academy and labor to take power. The financial sector and the left want open borders. The conservatives want them closed.
