TRANSPARENCY AS SUGGESTION FOR DUE DILIGENCE

by William L. Benge

One must warranty an “unbiased” claim, which at the outset entails providing full transparency of the claimant’s background and incentives, and repeating this for each and every conflict encountered between the author’s bias and the actual outcome. Transparent and self-aware – even painfully self-aware – provides demonstration of honesty. Really, we all know due to these high costs (personally revelatory skin in the game), that it is extremely difficult to near impossible to create an fully-warranted unbiased report, and so transparency and self awareness suggest to others vehicles for their due diligence on our behalf – the mirror always lies.
