Well, you know, the first cowardice of any people is their fear of truthful speech, followed by their inability to trust one another, their paranoia because of it, their inability to build a commercial civilization because of it, and their serfdom to propaganda because of all four. 😉

If that is the case then you are the world’s most cowardly people. We do not fear the truth. We do not fear domesticating the animal in ourselves – or in others. And we do not rattle sabers without the certainty of drawing them. Nor must we shoot our soldiers to make them fight.

Steppe people are cowards. Desert people are cowards. Because they fear to speak the truth.
