1) They win with their girls. Finnish girls are what tilt the curve. (I suspect this is male suppression as everywhere in the west).

2) Teachers require a ‘real’ masters degree, are highly paid, and it’s very difficult to get the job for that reason.

3) They don’t use standardized tests.
